"Music is a natural part of the human experience and is with us every day, whether we play a musical instrument or not. Not only is it expressive, but it's challenging, collaborative, exciting, emotional, mathematical, historical, scientific, and most importantly, extremely FUN!
Teaching and Performing Music are what I consider my life's work, and I love it every single day. I was lucky that I had various music teachers growing up. They pushed me to be the best I could be, but also showed compassion and understanding. They weren't just my instructors, but they were mentors that had decades of life experience, and I reflect on their teaching every day.
I created Mike's Music Lessons LLC because I want to make an impact on the music industry, under my own business model, the same way some of my teachers inspired me. I want everyone to learn the value of musical arts in daily life, and experience the joy of playing a musical instrument. No one should go on in life saying "I wish I learned how to play an instrument", like so many people I've known. We all have the power to enhance our lives through the power of MUSIC, and that there is no better time than RIGHT NOW.
